Barbara
McLure
Before establishing her consulting business early in 2005 Barbara was
the Executive Director of the Western Melbourne Regional Economic Development
Organisation (WREDO) for seven years. She also works with Victoria University
on a part-time basis with a focus on industry engagement.
Barbara maintains a strong focus on the intangibles - networks leading
to relationships and information and data leading to knowledge.
Having trained as an accountant and worked as a bank manager Barbara
has a strong background in finance and management. She served as a member
of the Industry Taskforce on Leadership and Management Skills (Karpin
Committee) in the mid 1990s and has edited four editions of The Small
Business Handbook. The latest edition was launched in October 2004.
Currently Barbara serves as a Board Member of the Environment Protection
Victoria and is also a member of EPA’s Audit Committee, Victoria Police Audit Committee, a member of the board of Matthews Steer Chartered Accountants, the advisory board of MacGregor Logistics and the Independent
Assessment Panel of the Smart Water Fund.
She has been a Council Member at Victoria University and was active as
a Board Member of Western Melbourne Tourism and the Centre for Population
Health and sat on the Steering Committee for the Werribee Technology Precinct.
Barbara is also a past president of the Small Enterprise Association of
Australia and New Zealand (SEAANZ).
Rennis
Witham
Rennis Witham has been a Consultant in recruitment, organisational management
and reviews, and strategic planning in the health and community sector
for the past fifteen years.
Prior to that she was the Executive Director of the Western Region Council
for Social Development and the CEO of the Western Region Health Centre.
Rennis is a board member of Doutta Galla Aged Care Services and has been a board member and Chair,
on two occasions, of Western Health and its many iterations; a board member
of the Western Health Care Network and the Western Melbourne Regional Economic Development Oorganisation (WREDO).
She was also a member of the Rescode and Melbourne 2030 consultation
and policy development committees and has been a member of the ALP Planning,
Local Government and Housing Policy Committee for a number of years.
Her experience and expertise lies in robust recruitment processes and
outcomes, organisational development and management strategies, policy
development, report writing, Governance, Compliance and Risk Management,
strategic and business planning and human resource development and training.
